  • Can I bring my pet?
    No. Though we love all animals, we value the safety of native wildlife, farm animals, your pets, and other guests here. Pets are therefore not permitted at Two Little Witches Cottage Retreats.
  • Is there Wifi in the cottages?
    No. We encourage you as much as possible to disconnect from technology, and reconnect with nature at Two Little Witches. There is mobile and internet coverage here however should you wish to use your provider's network.
  • I'm surprising my partner. Can you help to arrange something special for our stay?
    Absolutely! We are more happy to work with you to make your stay that much more special. Whether it's for a marriage proposal, honeymoon, an anniversary, a birthday, a girls' weekend, or just a surprise, we can source all sorts of special gifts and treats like flowers, bubbles, charcuterie boards, chocolates etc for you at your request. Get in touch and let's chat.
  • Do I need to bring firewood?
    No. Each cottage comes stacked with firewood to keep your fireplace going. Feel free to reach out if ever you require more during your stay.
  • Do I need to bring food and drinks?
    Yes. We encourage you to bring whatever you'd like to bring for food and drinks. The cottages are supplied with the essentials - tea, coffee, sugar, salt, and pepper. Each cottage also has great cooking facilities, appliances, as well as a fridge and microwave. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
  • Do you provide breakfast?
    No. However, each cottage has a kitchenette including fridge, stovetop, kettle, toaster, and microwave, as well as tea, coffee and sugar. There are also a number of cafes and a bakery just 10 minutes drive away in Dayboro if you prefer.
  • Do your cottages have a hair dryer, iron, toiletries etc?
    Our cottages come with a garment steamer, toilet paper, linen, towels, hand wash, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. We do have an iron to borrow if you need it. If you otherwise require anything feel free to contact us and we will try our best to accommodate you.
  • Do your cottages have a laundry machine?
    Golden Wattle has a laundry machine and drying rack. Ironbark and Grey Gum do not have laundry facilities.
  • Can I bring my caravan or motorhome?
    Yes you can park your caravan or motorhome here next to your cottage. However, please note our facilities are not designed to cater for them. As such a $10 per night fee will apply for power/water. Also note that we do not have waste disposal points.
  • How do I know which cottage is mine?
    As you drive up the Two Little Witches driveway, the available cottage retreats are the first three cottages on the righthand side of the driveway. The first cottage is Ironbark. The second is Grey Gum, and the third is Golden Wattle.
  • How do I obtain the keys for my cottage?
    Prior to arrival at your cottage, we will give you a code to open the lock box beside the front door. The lockbox will contain your set of keys to open the door.
  • What are the house rules?
    We value kindness and respect for each other, our neighbours, other guests, wildlife, and the tranquil ambience of our area. Our house rules are as follows: Please conserve water Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am No shoes indoors No smoking indoors No pets allowed No parties No loud noise Report any damage Shut any paddock gate you open Thank you.
  • Can I feed the farm animals?
    Yes, however to ensure safety, we request that you do so with initial supervision or guidance from our staff. We also run feedings regularly where all guests are welcome to participate if they wish to.
  • Can I have visitors over during my stay?
    No. Two Little Witches Cottage Retreats is for guests only. We request that no visitors be brought or invited to the property unless by prior arrangement with management.
  • Can I recharge my electric vehicle at the cottage?
    Yes. We have an outlet at the circuit box to support charging at 10 amps (2.4 kWs). However we do prefer that you only recharge your vehicle during the day, to maximise usage of solar power.
  • Can I have a campfire?
    Only Golden Wattle has an outdoor campfire. Please note that campfires must only be lit in the designated areas, and subject to suitable weather conditions, fire bans and any directions from management.
  • Can I wander through the surrounding lands that adjoin the road?
    No. Although the surrounding land may in some parts appear like forest or grasslands, Two Little Witches Cottage Retreats is completely surrounded by private rural properties. Entering those properties without that property owner's permission is trespassing. There is however national park at the end of Mt Brisbane Road, which offers plenty of bushwalking trails.
  • What do I need to do before I leave?
    Your cottage must be left in a clean and tidy condition upon depature. Before departure, all: rubbish must be put in the appropriate rubbish bin, used towels must be left on the bathroom floor, crockery and cutlery washed and stacked in the dish rack, windows and doors must be closed, and furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived.
  • Where do I return my keys?
    Please leave the key in the lockbox.
